EV Charger Installation in NY & NJ
Charge at home overnight instead of waiting at public stations. We install Level 2 chargers, run the dedicated circuit, and handle any panel capacity your charger needs β for every make of EV.
A Level 2 charger adds roughly 25β35 miles of range per hour, so you wake up to a full battery every morning. The install is more than bolting a box to the wall: it needs a dedicated 240-volt circuit, the right wire gauge, and enough panel capacity to run safely.
We do a load calculation first, mount the charger (or a NEMA 14-50 outlet) where you actually park, route the wiring cleanly, and pull the permit so the work is inspected and insurance-friendly.

What affects the cost
Every home is different, so we quote each job after we understand it β then you approve a clear, flat-rate price before any work starts. No mystery line items. These are the things that move the number:
- Distance from the panel to your parking spot
- Whether your panel has spare capacity or needs an upgrade
- A hardwired unit vs. a 14-50 outlet
- Indoor garage vs. an outdoor/underground run
- Your specific charger's amperage

EV Charger Installation β common questions
Which EV chargers do you install?
Any Level 2 unit β Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint, Wallbox, Emporia, and universal J1772/NACS chargers. If you haven't bought one yet, we'll help you pick the right amperage for your car and panel.
Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?
Not always. If your panel has spare capacity we can add the circuit directly; if it's full or undersized we'll do a load calculation and upgrade only what's needed.
Can you install a charger outside?
Yes. We use outdoor-rated equipment and weatherproof the run for driveways, carports, and detached garages.
Are there rebates for home EV chargers?
NY and NJ both have EV-related incentives that change over time. We install to the standard these programs require so you can claim what you qualify for.
